Vivek Jha, Bhopal:<\/strong> Preparations for the next wage settlement of public sector bank officers, due from November 2027<\/strong>, have gained momentum with the All India Bank Officers\u2019 Confederation (AIBOC)<\/strong> constituting a high-level committee to draft the Charter of Demands<\/strong> for submission to the Indian Banks\u2019 Association (IBA)<\/strong>. In a significant development, K. Ravi Kumar<\/strong>, General Secretary of the Canara Bank Officers\u2019 Association (CBOA)<\/strong>, has been appointed as the Co-Chairman<\/strong> of the committee.<\/p>\n

Committee to Prepare Charter of Demands for IBA<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Sharing the information, K. K. Tripathi<\/strong>, Vice President of the Canara Bank Officers\u2019 Association (CBOA), said that the appointment of K. Ravi Kumar<\/strong> as Co-Chairman is a matter of pride not only for CBOA but for the entire banking officers\u2019 fraternity.<\/p>\n

He expressed confidence that under Ravi Kumar\u2019s leadership, the concerns and aspirations of bank officers would receive stronger representation during the forthcoming wage negotiations.<\/p>\n

Two-Day Visit to Bhopal<\/strong><\/h3>\n

K. K. Tripathi informed that K. Ravi Kumar will be on a two-day visit to Bhopal on July 12 and 13<\/strong>. During his visit, he will participate in organizational meetings and interact with bank officers to discuss issues concerning the banking sector and the officers\u2019 community.<\/p>\n

The visit is also expected to include discussions on organizational strengthening, policy matters and preparations for the upcoming wage settlement.<\/p>\n

With the formation of the Charter of Demands Committee, expectations among bank officers have increased regarding the next wage revision.
